I have been painting for over 42 years, and also teaching for the past three. I am inspired by every thing, everywhere. I believe that in each moment there is wonder to behold within your immediate surroundings if you are awake to the beauty around you.

I have studied painting under many of the top artists of the country, but am self-taught in all aspects of drawing and composition. I have often been told that I seem to give life to every subject, and capture the heart and soul of people and animals in my paintings, which is the greatest compliment.

My paintings are known for being extremely colorful, the way I live and view my life.  I paint in oil, acrylic, watercolor and gouache, with oil being my preferred medium. All subject matter and styles interest me, depending on the moment of inspiration.
